Another in my Cubism Series of sculptures. All digital photographs are made up of Pixels. This sculpture takes that Pixelation to the extreme – but in 3D. The 3D effect was created by using over 100 photographs of the sitter, from 360 degrees, input to a computer software/CGI (Computer Graphic Imaging) package which then ‘understood’ the person. This enabled the software to create the sculpture using ‘Additive Printing/3D Printing’ with Polylactic Acid Strands.
